What is BLiP Decor?

BLiP

BLiP /blip/
noun
An unexpected minor, and typically temporary deviation from a general trend.

BLiP Decor is operated by Linda Diaz. The company name is made up of the first initials of her family’s first names:

Brad (son) Lilly (daughter) ignacio (husband) Palisades (daughter)

Linda recognizes blips in decorating as challenges in a particular room or space, and is able to work with those decorating challenges to yield results that suit you best. She will deviate from the norm and find creative ways to solve decorating challenges in unique ways. She utilizes items you already have in your home, or may recommend new or repurposed items to make your space interesting and comfortable. She enjoys the challenge of a quirky space or odd shaped pieces that one might normally see as unusable.

What I Do
I take the stress away!

Spending a little time in person using safe COVID protocols, or virtually, through pictures and text messages, we can discuss options to alleviate your decor BLiPs. I work with your current pieces and decor to create a more appealing and comfortable environment for you to feel at home and relaxed. I can execute a simple refresh of your bedroom, foyer or home office, surprising your child with a new bedroom arrangement, create and implement dazzling holiday decorating or a simple tablescape for a dinner party. I’m delighted to have a consultation with you to provide suggestions that you can do on your own or I can take on the entire project for you

Why I Do This
I have so much enthusiasm for this work simply because I love decorating, being creative and having the opportunity create your ideal space.

Why Choose BLiP Decor
I make it easy, casual and fun, and most importantly, I make it affordable.

I incorporate your own furniture and decor as much as possible, by simply rearranging and reorganizing. I can refurbish things you currently have and, if necessary, I shop on many second hand sites and stores, if needed. The challenge of finding the right pieces is a favorite part of the job. I also can take unwanted items in trade to continue to help keep your cost down as well as items to the landfill to a minimum, in an effort to help our environment.
